If you happen to be in town this weekend, unlike myself, there are two very different but cool things going on.

MonsterTrack, the “Illest Outlaw Alleycat Race” has a few different events taking place in Brooklyn starting with a party tonight.

Friday Night – Party at 3rd Ward 195 Morgan St. Brooklyn

9p-3a $5 at the door. Anyone can ride for free.

Open Goldsprints Qualifier and Rad Ride/Hawt Hoopty Contest

Saturday – Registration will start around 1p. Race will be around 4p.

Sunday – Sprints Stunts and Brunch

The Museum of the City of New York has an ongoing exhibition “Growing and Greening New York” through 22nd. 1220 Fifth Avenue at 103rd St

Last night they had a talk discussing the issue, “If you could lock your bike inside your office, would you be more inclined to ride to work?” The talk was preceded by the unveiling of two indoor bike-parking proposals, selected from more than 700 entries.
